This policy is pending final legal review before public launch. All stated principles accurately reflect Glowr's data practices.
Overview
Glowr is a tool for creators. The data you connect and log here is yours — it helps you run your business, and it stays in your control. We do not sell creator data, and we do not use your analytics or revenue data to train AI models or build advertising profiles.
1. What we collect
Account information
Email address, display name, and authentication credentials. If you sign in via Google OAuth, we receive your name, email, and profile photo from Google — nothing else.
Platform data (via connected integrations)
When you connect a platform (YouTube, TikTok, Twitch, Instagram, etc.), we request read-only access and pull the data you see in your dashboard — follower counts, views, engagement metrics, and where available, revenue data. We store this to power your analytics history.
Revenue entries
Income data you manually log — sponsorship amounts, brand deal fees, and other entries — is stored in your account. This data is private to you.
Usage data
Standard server logs including page visits, feature usage, and error events. Used to improve the product and diagnose issues. Not linked to personal profiles for advertising.
2. How we use your data
- ✓To provide the Glowr service — displaying your analytics, revenue, and platform health
- ✓To send account-related emails (sign-in confirmations, billing receipts, security alerts)
- ✓To respond to support requests
- ✓To improve the product (aggregated, anonymised usage patterns — never individual creator data)
- ✓To generate AI insights within your account (your data is never shared with third-party AI training datasets)
3. What we don't do
- —We do not sell your data to advertisers, data brokers, or third parties
- —We do not use your creator analytics to build ad targeting profiles
- —We do not use your revenue data to train AI models
- —We do not share your account data with connected platforms beyond what's required for the integration
- —We do not access your platform accounts beyond the read-only scopes you grant via OAuth
4. Third-party integrations
Glowr connects to third-party platforms via OAuth. When you connect a platform:
- —We receive only the data scopes you authorize during the OAuth flow
- —All scopes are read-only — Glowr cannot post or modify content on your accounts
- —OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest
- —You can revoke access at any time from Glowr settings or directly from the platform
5. Data retention
Your data is retained while your account is active and for 30 days after account deletion (to allow re-activation or export). After 30 days, all personal and platform data is permanently deleted.
Creators on Creator Pro or Studio plans with the Dark Archive enabled retain content backups per the terms of that feature — even after account deletion, until you explicitly purge the archive.
6. Security
Glowr uses industry-standard encryption for data at rest and in transit. OAuth tokens are encrypted. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plaintext. We perform regular security reviews and promptly address disclosed vulnerabilities.
If you believe you've found a security issue, contact support immediately.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- ✓Access all data Glowr holds about you (export available from account settings)
- ✓Correct inaccurate account information
- ✓Request deletion of your account and associated data
- ✓Revoke OAuth access to any connected platform
- ✓Object to or restrict specific data processing — contact support to exercise this
8. Cookies
Glowr uses session cookies for authentication — to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies. Analytics are server-side and anonymised.
9. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will notify you by email and in-app notification at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
