Frequently asked questions.
Clear answers to the things creators actually ask about.
Data accuracy
Glowr pulls data directly from platform APIs — the same source each platform uses for its own analytics. Auto-tracked data is as accurate as the platform itself. Every data source is labeled with a state (healthy, stale, or failed) and a timestamp so you always know what you're looking at.
Stale means Glowr was able to connect to the platform within the last 24 hours but received data that hasn't updated recently. This is often a platform-side reporting delay rather than a Glowr failure. The data is still visible, but marked with a stale indicator so you know not to treat it as current.
If a platform fails to sync, Glowr stops showing data for that platform rather than showing you outdated numbers silently. You'll see a clear error state with the time of the last successful sync and a prompt to reconnect. Metrics from other platforms continue to show normally.
Platform APIs often have a reporting delay of 24–72 hours. Views from yesterday may not be finalized until tomorrow. Glowr shows you the timestamp of the last pull so you can account for this. Where a discrepancy persists beyond the delay window, contact support from within the app.
Revenue tracking
Every revenue entry in Glowr has a confidence level: Confirmed (directly from platform API or manually verified), Estimated (calculated from rates or averages), or Approximate (rough manual entry). This tells you which numbers to plan around and which ones to double-check before making financial decisions.
Yes. Glowr lets you manually log any income source — sponsorships, brand deals, Patreon transfers, merchandise, and so on. You can tag each entry with a source type and confidence level.
No. Glowr never connects to bank accounts or payment processors. Revenue data comes from platform APIs (for auto-tracked income) or manual entries you log yourself. You retain full control of your financial data.
Income smoothing shows your 3-month rolling average alongside the current month, so a bad month doesn't look like a disaster when you're actually trending up. Available on Creator Pro and Studio plans.
Creator intelligence
Benchmarks show how your follower growth, engagement rate, revenue, and platform count compare to other creators in your segment — anonymised. Your segment is determined by your total follower count and number of active platforms. Glowr computes aggregate p25/median/p75 bands daily. No individual creator's data is ever visible to anyone else.
Benchmarks require at least 50 creators in your segment before data is shown. This protects privacy in thin segments — otherwise, with only a handful of creators, a band could effectively reveal individual values. As Glowr's user base grows, more segments will reach the threshold.
The creator score is a 0–100 health score computed daily across five dimensions: Growth (30%), Engagement (25%), Revenue (20%), Consistency (15%), and Platform diversity (10%). Scores are labelled Strong (80+), Growing (60–79), Building (40–59), or Needs attention (below 40). The score tracks weekly so you can see trend direction, not just a snapshot.
The decision engine is a prioritised list of up to 5 actions based on your live data — reconnect a failed platform, address engagement below your segment median, diversify revenue, and so on. It's refreshed daily and draws on your metrics, creator score, and benchmark position. Action links take you directly to the relevant part of your dashboard.
AI insights are on-demand analysis reports generated from your verified platform data. Glowr's AI observes patterns — cross-platform ROI differences, engagement velocity changes, revenue trend context — and presents them as observations. You decide what to do with them. Insights are only generated when your data coverage is ≥70% and fresh, so they're never based on incomplete or stale information. Available on Pro (15/mo), Creator Pro (50/mo), and Studio (150/mo) plans.
Integrations
Live today with full OAuth, sync, and analytics: YouTube and Twitch. In active development (join the waitlist on the integrations page to be notified as each ships): TikTok, Instagram, Patreon, Kick, Shopify, Spotify for Podcasters, Beehiiv, Buy Me a Coffee, and Gumroad. Available as optional add-ons (Pro+, $4.99/mo each): Substack, LinkedIn, Snapchat, and Rumble — note that Substack and Rumble have no public API and are manual-entry only. All automated integrations use official OAuth — no third-party credentials required.
Add-ons are niche platforms — Substack, LinkedIn, Snapchat, and Rumble — that aren't included in any base plan. Pro, Creator Pro, and Studio subscribers can add any of them for $4.99/mo each. They're billed alongside your plan and can be removed at any time from Settings → Integrations.
Yes. OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest and are scoped to read-only access — Glowr never has permission to post, publish, or modify anything on your accounts. You can revoke access at any time from both Glowr and the platform's own settings.
When platforms change their APIs, Glowr updates the integration automatically. You'll be notified if reconnection is needed. If a platform pauses an API entirely, Glowr shows a clear notice rather than silently failing.
Account & billing
Yes. Spark is free with no credit card required — it connects one platform and keeps 30 days of history. Paid plans (Rise, Pro, Creator Pro, Studio) include a 14-day free trial before your first charge.
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade anytime from Settings → Billing. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades apply at the end of your current billing period. You can also manage your plan directly through the Stripe billing portal — linked from your billing settings.
Yes. Cancel from Settings → Billing at any time. Your paid access continues until the end of the billing period. No cancellation fees.
Your data is retained for 30 days after cancellation, giving you time to export or reactivate. After 30 days, your data is permanently deleted.
Yes. If you're unsatisfied within 14 days of your first paid charge, contact support for a full refund. No questions asked.
Each add-on ($4.99/mo) is billed alongside your plan. Add-ons are prorated if added mid-cycle. You can remove any add-on at any time from Settings → Integrations — it will stop billing at the end of the current period.
Support
Glowr includes an in-app support ticketing system. Open a ticket from the Support section of your dashboard — set a title, describe the issue, and choose an urgency level. You'll receive a short reference number (e.g. TKT-A1B2) and can track the status and replies within the app.
IT support (included on Pro, Creator Pro, and Studio) covers technical account issues: sync failures, OAuth reconnection problems, billing disputes, and platform data discrepancies. It's handled through the in-app ticket system with priority response times.
Community plan (Spark, Rise): best effort. Pro and above: priority response via the in-app ticket system. We aim to respond to all Pro+ tickets within one business day.
Privacy & data
Only you. Glowr does not sell creator data, does not share your metrics with third parties, and does not use your data to train AI models. Your platform data belongs to you.
Benchmarks are computed from aggregate data only — no individual creator values are ever stored in the benchmark tables. Glowr enforces a minimum cohort of 50 creators per segment before any benchmark data is shown, preventing statistical reverse-engineering of individual values. Your data contributes to benchmarks as an anonymous data point.
